This briefing follows the publication of the Annual Education Workforce Statistics 2025.

Our presenters shared an overview of the 2025 data, highlighted key trends from across 13 registration categories and more than 91,000 registrants. For the first time this year, that included information on adult learning practitioners and principals or senior leaders working in further education.

The event, aimed at education leaders, policymakers, and senior staff helped attendees better understand the latest statistics and support future workforce planning, strategy, and policy development.

Following the main presentation, attendees were able to ask questions on the information presented.
