Publication date: 16 October 2025
A Fitness to Practise Committee of the Education Workforce Council (EWC), sitting remotely on 6-10 October 2025, has found an allegation unacceptable professional conduct proved against further education learning support worker, further education teacher, and school learning support worker, Cerys Warren.
The Committee found the following allegations proven, that whilst employed as an Additional Learning Support Worker at Coleg y Cymoedd, Mrs Warren:
- on 21 May 2024, deleted one or more documents about learner 2 from the College computer systems, which were:
- relevant to a disciplinary investigation against her
- important documents relating to learner 2’s health and safety
Having made these findings, the Committee also determined that Mrs Warren’s conduct was dishonest and lacked integrity.
The Fitness to Practise Committee imposed a Suspension Order (without conditions) on Mrs Warren’s registration as further education learning support worker, further education teacher and school learning support worker for a period of 6 months (from 10 October 2025 to 10 April 2026).
